Executive Director of Samaritan Recovery Community
Samaritan Recovery Community is one of Nashville, TN’s longest-serving addiction treatment communities. Our mission is to passionately assist our clients to attain and sustain recovery, especially those economically disadvantaged. Samaritan provides a full continuum of care including intensive residential, intensive outpatient, transitional living, and supportive housing programs. Our programs include treatment services for co-occurring disorders, and medically assisted treatment. In a recent survey, our employees have stated that they are very proud of our client care quality, our ethical standards, and our exceptional record on state audits and CARF accreditation reports.
Samaritan Recovery is seeking an Executive Director to provide leadership, vision, and direction for the continued success of the organization and those we serve. Samaritan has a strong financial basis, operating surpluses, and no debt. Notably, our organization is undergoing a multi-million redevelopment of its facility which when completed will provide our clients and employees a state-of-the-art facility. This provides an incredible opportunity for our next leader to meaningfully impact the next generation of programs and direction. This is a high-profile project within the Nashville community, with stakeholders throughout the county, and will increase our intensive residential licensed beds to 48 from 28. Our next Executive Director will play a key role in bringing this vision to reality. As outlined in our bylaws, the Samaritan Executive Director is the top officer responsible for the operations and direction of our programs and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a deep immersion into treatment modalities for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders. He or she will also have a demonstrated proficiency in basic business concepts including securing revenue through grants, insurance contracts, philanthropy, and other innovative programs.
The Samaritan Recovery Community executive director base qualifications include:
- Five years of executive leadership
- Ten years of industry experience
- Appropriate licensure
- Deep domain expertise in human service, especially addiction treatment
- Charismatic and Engaging Personality
